Students have the opportunity to increase their creativity and innovation with a pragmatic, realistic approach and instill entrepreneurial elements through the 7th Celik-Biz Competition for primary school students nationwide and the 12th BigStart Competition for secondary school and college students nationwide. The Convention for the competitions was held in Kampung Lugu, 18th November morning.
The competitions served as a learning platform based on life skills, to produce students who are more independent, proactive and competitive in line with the needs of 21st century skills, emphasising six main elements including critical thinking, collaboration and creativity. Prizes were handed over by Awang Aliuddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Acting Permanent Secretary for Core Education at the Ministry of Education. Five groups competed in the Celik-Biz Competition and the BigStart Competition respectively. For Celik-Biz, the champion was the Safezone dot bn Group from Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Arabic School. Meanwhile, winner of the BigStart competition was the i-Alhudur Group, also from Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Arabic School.
